Pastor Jared 

Some work to earn a living, others climb the corporate ladder to reach career goals, but few create impact along their professional journeys. Jared M. Williams is one that has not been confined by the limitations of a particular vocational track, but he has been afforded the chance to fashion opportunities for others. The world’s most phenomenal leaders aren’t those that simply instruct others with their expertise, but they are those that work themselves out of their current role in order to lift up another to their level.

 

As Founder of Life Church International Jacksonville, Inc. Jared empowered eight members to connect with others through the love of Christ shown through man, and these eight are now joined with an additional three hundred developing leaders.

 

Along with the ongoing investment in his parish, he offers spiritual guidance, support, and care to the staff, patients, and families of the University of Florida Health (Jacksonville) as a Pro Re Neta (PRN) Chaplain. 

 

Most recently, Jared accepted the beautiful challenge of Campus Pastor at Edward Waters College and leads over 1,300 students and faculty members in addition to a staff of twelve student leaders and served faithfully for two years (2019-2021). Around this time, he also accepted the role of Executive Liaison for Red Guerrilla Entertainment featuring the screen movie “Canal Street” featuring stars such as FOX’s “Empire,” Bryshere Gray who plays Hakeem and Jacksonville’s very own Woody McClain who has starred in hit sitcom,Power Book II: Ghost, and movies The New Edition Story, The Bobby Brown Story and box-office hit The Harder They Fall. In addition, Jared serves as a Board Member for Clara White Mission, Inc servicing Jacksonville's homeless and les fortunate.  

 

Before leading thousands each day, his leadership covers his wife and business partner Marquita, and his three children Navah, Jade and Marcellas. No assignment is greater than raising three emerging leaders in an ever-changing society.

 

When quiet moments arise, Jared invests his intellect and wisdom in writing. He has authored six literary works: 2014 - 21 Days to a Better You, Wealth on Purpose (WOP), WOP Student Edition, WOP Teacher’s Manual, 2017 - Your Next Chapter, and 2018 - The Canal Street Movie Devotional.

 

Some would be overwhelmed by the aforementioned assignments, but Jared was raised to lead and to lead well. No matter the room he enters, he will not exit until he has left an impact on those around him.

Lady Marquita

Not everyone’s dream is to start their own business, create a unique product or to change the world on some grand stage. These desires are admirable and necessary for the function of our lives, but none of those accomplishments can be achieved alone. Whether you need a steady clientele, staff members or investors, you cannot do anything of great significance alone. To see your dreams realized, everybody needs a “Marquita.”

 

Marquita Williams is a listening ear, supporter, investor, and helper to many. As she pushes the dreams of her husband Jared while cultivating the minds of three future leaders and thinkers in her home, she does the same for her local community.

 

As a professional, Marquita is a realtor, specializing in residential properties on the buyer’s end of the deal. Her innate ability to read between the lines and listen to what her clients didn’t say is what separates her from your average realtor. Her passion is to walk you into and through your first, next or dream home.

 

As a humanitarian, Marquita is a walking nonprofit. One of her many initiatives is an umbrella drive. During the rainy season in Florida, she collects and purchases umbrellas for the homeless. Without the resources of a large corporation her community’s most vulnerable and overlooked know who she is. 

 

She looks, she loves, she listens, and she works. Those who know her best, refer to her as the Michelle to her Barack. Before she does anything for herself, she makes certain her husband is ready to take another step into his destiny, her children are prepared for success and that her plans undergird the dreams of those around her. Marquita is simply the answer. If she can’t be the answer, she has the resources to find the answer. Journey with her as she silently changes the world.
